Applications are invited from qualified professionals (preferably females) who are competent, motivated, innovative, goal oriented, and committed to the cause of female higher education for the following posts in the Department of Electronic Engineering (on Three Years Contract ) of Fatima Jinnah Women University.

Nil Qualification: PhD Degree/ Terminal Qualification in the field of Electrical /Electronic Engineering (from an HEC recognized Institution).
Note: For PhD degree holders from Pakistan the Registrar must certify that the PhD thesis was evaluated by two foreign Experts as per HEC guidelines for award of PhD degree, in case foreign evaluation was not done then the candidate must provide evidence of two publications in Journals recognized by the HEC.

CONDITIONS:

  1. Interested applicants are required to apply online through University website (www.fjwu.edu.pk)(Online Application Form link will be available soon) and submit the application form in hard form alongwith required documents.
  2. Two  copies of applications/dossiers (in case of Assistant Professor/Lecturer) and one set for administrative position on the prescribed proforma along-with attested documents  (i) Degrees/Certificates/Transcripts  (ii)  experience certificate  (iii)  CNIC  (iv) Domicile (v)  2-recent photographs, fully bound with a Pay order, Bank Draft  or  paid  challan for Rs.1500/-  for the posts at S# 01, 02 and Rs. 1000/- for the posts at S#03  and Rs. 300/- for s# 04 payable to the  Treasurer, Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi should reach the office of the Registrar, by August 21, 2017.
  3. Applications for teaching posts from abroad may be sent along-with US $ 100 as application fee
  4. Application with incomplete documents and/or received after due date shall not be entertained by any means.
  5. Applications lacking prescribed criteria and required qualification on closing date will not be entertained (required terminal degree must be completed on closing date).
  6. Applicants already working in Government/Semi-Government Organizations/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel by due date and submit service certificates issued by their present employer; otherwise, their applications will not be entertained. However, the University may entertain advance copies.
  7. Applicants applying for TTS appointments are required to prepare a comprehensive application dossier that may include letters of reference from his/her PhD Supervisor as well as other eminent researchers in his/her area of specializations and all publications in referred recognized journals by the HEC.
  8. The final selection of the candidates on TTS would be subject to the endorsement of appointments by HEC.
  9. The University reserves the rights to increase/decrease the number of posts, not fill any post, withhold the appointment against any advertised post or accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.
  10. The candidates applying for the posts must enlist the attached documents with signatures.
  11. Age relaxation will be given as admissible under the rules of Government of the Punjab.
  12. Recruitment test will be held for the post of Lecturers and Lab Engineers (if required).
  13. Only short listed candidates will be called for interview. No TA/DA will be paid.
  14. Decision of the University shall remain binding in all cases.
  15. The University is not responsible if call letters are delayed or not received due to any lapse of courier service/ post office/ telephone message.
  16. 5% quota has been reserved for employment of minorities and 3% for disabled persons.

Last Date for Submission of Applications: Application on prescribed form complete in all respects should reach the Registrar Office by August 21, 2017.
