Instructions:

  1. Admission forms of Regular/Late College students of all constituent & affiliated colleges duly completed in all respect will be sent by the concerned Principals.
  2. Regular/Private candidates are required to get their admission forms alongwith requisite documents and photographs attested/signed on backside (both male & female).
  3. All fresh candidates (regular & private) BA/BSc/Bth/BSc Nursing examination are required to annex original Migration Certificate issued by their respective Boards.
  4. Examination centre is allotted on the basis of permanent address as -mentioned in the examination admission form. However, the university reserves the right to allot the Examination Centre anywhere on the basis of number of candidates in the area. Those who would like to be examined in a place other than their permanent address, should send their own/parents service/residence certificate with the form in official capacity. The certificate should also be countersigned by a Gazetted Officer.
  5. After the last date of submission of forms with tripple fee, forms will be accepted with a fine of Rs.500/- for delay of every 15 days or to a maximum of Rs.2000/- till two weeks prior to the commencement of Examination. No admission form will be accepted two weeks before the commencement of examinations unless allowed by the competent authority with enhanced fee.
  6. Fee once deposited shall neither be refundable nor adjustable, if the candidate is otherwise eligible.
  7. Candidates who appeared in the Supplementary Examination, 2015 in BA/BSc/BTh/BSc Nursing Part-I & II, if placed in compartment, shall be entitled to submit their forms with normal fee within 15 days after declaration of result, failing which fee of the date shall be charged.

Schedule:

  • Scrutiny of papers by the concerned departments/institutes/Centres and remittance of fee 1st to 5th February, 2016.
  • (The concerned Departments may adopt proper procedure for short listing of eligible candidates  & subsequent selection within the given time frame)

Eligibility:

MS, MPhil, M.Phil. leading to Ph.D.

  • Relevant Master’s degree / 4-years education after intermediate (130 Credit hours), with a minimum CGPA 2.5 in Semester System or 2nd Division in Annual System.
  • Candidate must pass Screening Test conducted by the Institute/Centre/Department/College by securing at least 60% marks.

 

Ph.D.

  • Candidates having MS/M.Phil / 18 years education with a CGPA 3.0 in Semester System or 1st Division in Annual System.
  • Candidate must pass Screening Test conducted by the Institute/Centre/Department/ College by securing at least 70% marks.

Important:

  1. Candidates employed in any Government or Semi-Government Department/Organization must submit No Objection Certificate from the concerned Department/Organization within 30 days after initial selection failing which the selection will be deemed to have lapsed.
  2. Provision of hostel accommodation is not mandatory and is subject to availability of seats
  3. In case of ambiguity about eligibility, the opinion of the Graduate Studies Committee of the concerned department may be taken into consideration. 
  4. Schedule for Test/Interview/Scrutiny of papers and remittance of fee will be given by each Deptt/Centers/Institute within the period between 1st to 5th February, 2016.
